Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor who has been featured on a range of TV shows and films throughout her professional career. The model started out as a model, but once she was recognized internationally, she decided to take on acting. In 1995 she began performing in the show "Baywatch Nights". Harmon's voice was used in an animated film version of 'Batman Beyond': Return of the Joker.' Harmon decided early in 2000 that she would not be performing on television and to concentrate only on film. She returned to TV after being in films for a couple of episodes. She has been one of the few actresses who have been photographed in a discreet manner for the 'Allure' magazine in 2008. The character as Detective Jane Rizzoli was her most famous work in the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. The character of Detective Jane Rizzoli was highly regarded and she was awarded numerous awards. Angie Harmon is nominated and awarded for outstanding work.
