Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to live broadcast at the New York Stock Exchange. She is the host of several popular show to her name. Being a veteran broadcaster who has a decade of experience in covering economics and business news Bartiromo played a key role in positioning CNBC as one of the top in its business and economic segment. Maria's highly successful journalism career leads one to believe she was meant to be in this field. Maria was in a state of confusion as a young girl about which career path to choose. At one point she wanted to be a singer the next day and an interior designer. Once she discovered the pleasures journalistic work, she never turned around. She is not only an outstanding journalist, but she also serves as an inspiration to women who want a career in a field that is that is dominated by men. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn, an American actor in TV and film, and theatre. From the age 27 she has been a professionally active thespian. The first time she appeared on the stage as an actor in a 1990 production of The Big Funk (John Patrick Shanley) in off-Broadway. The Perfect Tribute was her first role on TV one year later. In 1992 she got her big break after being cast in Basic Instinct as a secondary character. The Firm was the film in which she was the lead lady for the first and sole moment. This was opposite Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman as well as others. The 1990s saw her professional career included working alongside top Hollywood stars such as Gwyneth as in Sliding doors Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes, and Julie Andrews Relative Values. Recently, she was the character Dr. Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.
