Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch is an American writer, comedian and TV host best known for her time as hostess for Dinner and a Movie on TBS as well as an activist with religious humanism and environmental concerns. Annabelle Gurwitch a New York Times best-selling writer, actress and critic of her autobiography, Wherever You Go Wherever You Go I'm sure you've made an Effort. You Say Tomato. I Say Shutup, and I Fired. It was also featured in an episode of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch is well known for her time hosting TBS Dinner & a Movie. She also has been featured on shows such Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. Gurwitch is a regular host on PBS Newhour Real Time With Bill Maher, NPR and composes satirical and op-ed pieces for The New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter in addition to Op-eds and satires to The New Yorker. As an actress performing on stage, her work has made her one of the critics' Top Ten performance on the pages of The New York Times as and the Los Angeles Times. Annabelle is a wise woman who shares her wisdom on aging and how to smile at the aging process in a youth-obsessed society. She's presented this material in front of audiences across the globe, including her appearance at the 92% St Y Prevention Magazine, AARP and Women's Nights. Annabelle talks about the importance and absurdity of families, both the ones that we were born into and the ones we join.
